At Kawau island for our activities Mr Jacobsen was our coach on the confidence course.

Mr Jacobsen was our coach supporting us well climbing up safely on the large brown wood on the confidence course.

Controlling the optimus boat sail I was nervous about sailing on camp.

I am very looking forward to go camp at kawau island next week I am very exited year 6 only are going.

Athletics

On Friday November the 8th it was sports day called athletics I was excited , we had it outside the whole day. There were four colours green,red,yellow,blue, but we called the colours in maori. I ‘m going to write about two events

Our first event was triple jump which was very difficult, we had to hop with your left foot then your right foot then jump with both foot. I didn’t make that far for triple jump because it was to hard. I also didn’t like it.

Shot put was next it was a pretty easy event the first person threw the shot put as far as he could but it only went 5 meters. he was in a good position the second person threw the shot put and it went very very far a lot of people were just beating to get the third place position. I was the last one, It was my turn I swung my body around and extended my arms and threw the shot put as far as I could. ‘’YEESSS’’ I was in first position

On one bad day the sky was white and clouds were in a pile James just finished feeding the hens. Walking outside singing with enthusiasm getting ready to stretch James tripped over a hook’’ Oh no ‘’ James face planted on the grass. James stood up with anger he punched his door and sat on the step ‘’ that was so embarrassing lucky no one saw’’ James said.

Getting change to water hose the gardens James zipped up his suit and went outside. All a sudden James heard a whisper an strange voice saying, ‘’come here’’ It was coming from the shed. James ran to the shed all the hens were gone ‘’NO WAY’’ James jumped over the fence and went out looking for them. James sat down on the tree ‘’ my hens are gone’’ where are they?.

James persvired and stood up with fare ‘’Wow’’ something zoomed past James something black. It went to the back of the shed James ran to the back nothing was there only a lemon tree. ‘’ OH MAN’’ James heard a whisper again but this time he did not know what the whisper said.

He looked in his garage ‘’ THERE YOU ARE’’ James found the hens. But that was it, James wanted to know who’s whisper it was. He ran into the shed and there he was.... He was in the corner staring at James with a depressed face ‘’ What your name?’’  ‘’billy’’........ Billy then vanished. James ran back to the shed all of the hens were gone as well.

The Accident

Paul was drifting and accelerating on his quad bike showing off to his brother the. Paul brothers were very jealous, Paul was riding his bike with enthusiasm and with an annoying attitude. Paul went very fast up the ramp ‘’ woo hoo’’ when Paul landed the quad bike started to wiggle.

The quad bike wheels started to shake ‘’ umm I think I should stop showing off’’ Paul said. Paul did not notice the there was a rock that was half size of wheel’’ OH NO’’ Paul spotted the rock BANG the quad bike flipped to the side and tumbled down the hill and landed on Paul knee ‘’ AHHH MY KNEE’’. the brothers went to left up the quad bike but they weren't strong enough Paul was stuck.   

‘’ Quick someone call the ambulance ‘’ the ambulance and the police came and lifted the quad bike slowly, Paul was screaming. Then they lifted up paula and put him in the van and took him to the hospital

Putting Paul in hospital was very sad the brothers were depressed. When they went and checked out his knee they found out it was broken ‘’OHH MAN’’ he couldn't move his leg ‘’ maybe I should never show off again’’ Paul said

One hot sunny day Max was rolling and hopping on the dirty brown mud. Max and his two other friends were splashing mud at each other.

Suddenly a big flood of water started rushing towards the three pigs ‘’ look for something to jump on’’ Max said. The clouds started to gather up in a pile then it starts raining ‘’ I have a bad feeling’’ Max said.

They only found a wall of bricks and a white board, they all hopped on. Water splashed against the bricks and waves started getting dangerous.     

The three pigs started to struggle they were about to lose balance’’ Oh no!’’ Max said, The bricks started to shake. ‘’Hold on tight’’ max friend said water started getting bigger and bigger until the three pigs couldn’t swim. The three pigs closed there eyes and went to sleep.. when they woke up there were in a shaded place with muddy grounds and big mountain.

So they all went to a muddy puddle and started splashing mud everywhere THE END       

The sheep experience

On a beautiful clear sunny weather Kate and her friends were enjoying the day at Avenal station grazing on the fresh grass. Munch Munch Munch Kate sound like she was making annoying sound effect well she was eating.

One day, two scary freaky dogs were waiting on top of the four wheeler bike staring at the sheep. The dogs were clenching their teeth with anger, they loved chasing sheep, it was their favourite hobby.

‘’Help me!!!’’ Kate said, running as fast as she could screaming . ‘’Keep moving’’ kate said to her friends the dogs were chasing the sheep up and down the hill ‘’ I’m tired’’ Kate said. The dogs didn't stop they were still chasing us and I was exhausted we didn’t know were the dogs were chasing us?.

Gathering the sheep in a pile the sheep were nervous. ‘’ARE WE GOING TO DIE!!’’ a random sheep said ‘’ or are we going into the freeze work ‘’ all the sheep didn’t want to go into the shed. Well kate walked into the humongous shed kate was very very scared until all they had to do was get shared ‘’LUCKY ME ‘’.  

   All the sheep were lining up to go to the shearing shed . One dog was walking on top of us which was scary a lot sheep were running fast because they were scared of the dog. Some sheep were hiding underneath a ewe.

Grabbing Kate by the stomach all she heard was the razing sound, she thought she was going to die ‘’WHAT ARE YOU DOING’’ Kate struggled, she was trying to get out of it. Then the man picked her up and threw her on her back ‘’OUCH!!!’’ Kate screamed some wool came out of her skin ‘’AAAAHHH’’ I kicked the man in the face then he accidentally scratch me ‘’HE’S GOING TO KILL ME’’ half of my wool came off. When I woke up I was free, I feel a little better without the wool fleece. Now I can go back to eating fresh grass.

My cross county run

Standing at the starting line I had butterfly Mr burt said’’ on your mark.. get set GO!!’’, then I sprinted with my friends but then I slowed down cause I didn't want to waste my energy, we weren't  even halfway ‘’ wow ‘’, I nearly tripped over cause there were humangest puddles   

Running to the first person I felt proud of myself but I still had a big way to go. I saw the reserve well I was running I was very tired so I stop for 5 seconds then I continued my legs felt like someone was punching it which was very saw  

We were near the finished line so I sprinted with my friend to the finished line. I couldn't run that fast cause my legs were breaking that I nearly tripped over. People were cheering well we were running I was proud of myself.

The Three Little Pigs

Once upon a time the three little pigs who moved out of it their mums house ’’bye mum’’ three little pigs said. Then they went to seek their own fortune , they went far to find a place to live.

The three little pig started building their own house, the first little pig was very lazy and silly he went and bought some hay and built his house, he built it fast and easy.

Along came the big bad wolf he could smell bacon,so he knocked on his door’’little pig little pig let me in’’. ‘’ not by the hair of my chinny chin chin ‘’  little pig said,Then the big bad wolf huff and he puffed and blew the house down. The wolf came out of the piggy house blood dripping of it mouth.

Second little pig thought he was clever than the first pig so he went and bought some sticks which cost a lot money. It took him a few minutes to build his house out of sticks. finishing the house the second pig went and sat down on the chair

,then the big bad wolf could smell roast chicken so he went and knocked on the door’’ little pig,little pig let me in ‘’ big bad wolf said  ‘’not by the hair of my chiny chin chin’’ the pig said then he huff and he puffed and he blew the house down ’’ nooo ‘’ said the two pig. then the wolf eat the pig.

Third pig though he was clever than his other other brother. Then he went and bought some bricks which he had to give all of his money to the person. So then he finished building his house.

but the third little pig put a boil pot where the chimney is.Then the big bad wolf jumped and landed on the pot BANG!! the wolf landed on his head OUCH!.

highlight for this term

My best this I've ever done in this reading and writing group is making a movie for the te reo Maori we did a rugby film of telling people moves in rugby but in maori our group was me,brandon,kris,liku, we did 5 moves step ,wing, grubber,drop kick, and conversion at the end of our movie my friend brandon try to do a conversion but then he failed by trping over in one foot.

Hi my name is Leka, we were playing rock paper scissors I was more likely to win more then Paula I was  66% and Paula was 33%.

Going to the pt england reserve with my family the tide was in and got to swim I wasn't swimming I was bombing off the rocks splashing water at my brothers which was fun the water was getting deeper and deeper my brothers and sisters were getting change I did not realized the water was deep so was going to bomb one more time so I jumped off the rock then I went all the way down I swam up to take a deep breath then I was screaming ‘’help help’’ no one replied I started swimmer as fast as I could but I couldn't because there were big wave that were pulling me back I kept on going I at the level of 100% speed then.. Yes I made then I laid down on my back and relax’’ I’m never doing that again    maybe

The Dragon Machine

Once upon a time there was a boy called georgie. It was a rainy thursday where george was looking outside his window the more georgie looked outside the more dragons he could see. George was unnoticed,overlooked and also the dragon, george feed the dragon bread and smelly cheese and let the dragon inside his house. So george went to the local library to find info about dragons. One paragraph about finding dragons on the left corner ‘’ DO NOT FEED YOUR DRAGON STATS BREAD AND DO NOT LET YOUR DRAGONS INSIDE YOUR HOUSE’’ but it was too late george already done the thing that it said in the book. The dragon followed george to places and making trouble and george had to apologize for nothing to the people that the dragon messed up.

George woke up and just notice it was his birthday then. So he went to the kitchen and had his cake and he also got a present which was a dog...............no one notice it wasn’t a dog.....

humbler plumber discovering an shipwreck

 One day me and the humble plumber went on a journey to discover the shipwreck well we were scuba diving. Getting change to our dry suit to go scuba diving we went

very deep, then the humbler plumber discovered an old rusty shipwreck by getting his foot stuck. Looking for my friend I just remember that his cloths glow. So it will  be easy for me to find the humbler plumber, finally I found him then we went inside the shipwreck which was scary. walking in the deck there was an skeleton with a king crown my friend went to take the crown but then he grabbed his hand and held on.

Trying to take his and off it was too hard I couldn't take it off. It was like his hand was super glued on so I found an hamer and smacked it on his hand but it was slow cause we were in water.So I keep on doing’’ I have an Idea’’ so I took his chair then I stood on his head after that he finelly let go but the shipwreck broke in half and we

swim back up the shipwreck didn't just brake in half it also blow up and I went fly in the air

Swimming to the sand we lied down and had a rest but the humbler plumber saw a shadow of a skeleton he said’’ maybe the skeleton warned us ‘’ we looked at our boat’’ OH NO’’ said the humbler plumber our boat has blown up just like the shipwreck, ’’were stranded for life on this yuk island’’ be quiet I said. grills in Antarctica

One brave man called grills surviving in Antarctica it was very difficult for him he had no food and no equipment but he did have tent and his fishing rod. it was so foggy he couldn't see his way to the water. he started to make his tent from his bag with no blanket. The next day still there were no sign of the sun it was still foggy. The good news was he finally found his way to the water so he could go fishing because he was starving. He saw a killer whale going to eat 4 penguin by chasing them. But the killer whale found the hook of my fishing rod and bite and started to pull then my fishing rod snapped in half.

Walking back to my tent I was trying to fix my fishing rod. Next day I went fishing again I caught one fish then I caught a very big weird fish. then I went back to my tent and made a campfire to cook my fish. After it was cooked  was excited to finally eat. grills found a small boat,I was thinking If I can go in the middle of the ocean. So I travelled to the middle of the ocean a mammal was bumping in to my boat

.

‘’A killer whale’’ I said, grills didn't know what to do I tried to scaring it away it didn't work then I tried smacking it but it didn't work. Yelling ‘’HELP HELP’’ no one replied then I found a stick and started to paddle but it was too far and I was going to slow but the killer whale bit my stick off. So I grabbed my fishing rod and tied it around the killer whales head then tied it to the boat,grills jumped out of the boat and swim back ‘’lucky me’’ grills said walking back to my tent I found one of the adelie penguin sleeping in my tent.I lift it up and chucked it to the group of penguin ‘’STRIKE!!!. One day a helicopter came I was waving my hand in the air saying’’help help’’ the helicopter came down and I went in the helicopter then I made it home safely.

Mangroves

Mangrove like living in swamp. Mangroves live on the coastal areas it does not live in landlock. There are 4 animals living in the creek which is  tuna,catfish,els, patik. In the south island of new zealand there are no mangroves living over there cause it is too cold for the mangroves to grow in the south island. The mangroves help to protect both seas, mangroves uses the lichen that hangs from the tree’s can be boiled to make green dye. The water near the mangroves are very dirty and swampy. Mangroves stand up tall’’breathing roots so they can breath oxygen. Mangroves help to keep the fish cool,when had gathered the fish from the swamp. Mangroves help to  protect coastlines from high seas.

Crazy jack

 ARGHHHH!!!!!!!!!! my name is crazy jack the reason why I'm called crazy jack is I drive in two boat crashing and bumping, cause my boat is metal my team has no swords and there are no guns just metal stick’s usually no pirates have metal stick’s. If someone makes a tiny scratch or just a scratch thats when I get angry then I go sico. I’m famous cause in 1954 I was the craziest boat driving in the whole caribbean area and also the strongest boat.

Three Little Pigs who build three houses of different stuff. A big bad wolf is able to blow down the first two pigs' houses, made of straw and wood, but is not strong to destroy the third pig's house, made of bricks.The big bad wolf was unable to blow the third pig house down, He huff then puffed then he failed. All three pigs started laughing but the big bad wolf got angry,so instead of blowing wind he blowed out fireball shooting everywhere, big bad wolf shot the second pig through the window the two pigs were panicking so they ran out of the brick house and ran in the woods, the wolf said’’YOU CAN RUN BUT YOU CAN'T HIDE’’ the third pig trip and fell on his face but the first pig made it to a safe place. But the big bad wolf blowed out fireball and landed on the third pig’’GOT YA’’ the wolf said.

leka bush walk story

Our litres class went on a bushwalk to omery creek to see the beach but then we had to walk back . I couldn't walk with energy cause I can’t stand the smell well we were walking it smelt like a dead rat. The bad thing was I was dehydrated our teacher was walking like he didn't need any walter. running really fast I tripped over cause my shoes laysses got untied man I got embarrassed .Finally we made it to the pt england reserve I boosted to the tap to have a long drink. But I did not realize that mr s was counting and there was people at the back saying ‘’ HURRY UP’’. walking back to school I finally had energy to run. I am never going back in the there again.
